English Access Microscholarship Program (The Access Program) started in Nepal from the year 2011. The first cohort of the Access Program was implemented from 2011 to 2013 at three centers which include Kathmandu, Bhairahawa of Rupandehi, and Gorkha. The Access Centers were located at NELTA Headquarters, Kamaladi, Kathmandu, Gorkha Bazar, Gorkha, and Bhairahawa Model Higher Secondary School, Siddartha Nagar, Rupendehi. Mr. Shyam Bahadur Pandey was the first Access Program Coordinator for this program for Nepal.
